Prepared for Fresh Taste Group · Engineering Discovery Brief

Fresh Taste Ticketing Platform

A Fresh Taste-owned, white-label ticketing and audience-commerce system for its events, its stable of artists, and eventually outside artists and promoters.

01 · Opportunity

The problem is control—not merely ticket checkout.

Fresh Taste currently depends on Ticketmaster and Eventbrite. The desired system must reduce fees, improve payout speed, preserve customer data, expand marketing control, improve the fan experience, and give Fresh Taste a solution it can commercialize.

Working product thesis: Fresh Taste owns the brand, audience relationship and commercial model. The engineering decision is what to license, what to integrate and what to custom-build.
1

Fresh Taste Events

Direct ticket sales and event operations under Fresh Taste control.

2

Artist White Label

Individually branded storefronts and fan relationships for each artist.

3

Commercial Platform

A future ticketing and audience platform for outside artists and promoters.

02 · Working Architecture

One branded experience. Four coordinated system layers.

This is a starting architecture for engineering review—not a locked technical prescription.

Layer 1

Fan Experience

Fresh Taste marketplace, artist storefronts, event pages, checkout, mobile tickets and wallet delivery.

Layer 2

Ticketing Core

Inventory, seat maps, QR credentials, transfers, refunds, entry validation and event ledger.

Layer 3

Commerce & Settlement

Payments, taxes, platform fees, split revenue, payouts, refunds, fraud and chargebacks.

Layer 4

CRM & Growth

GHL-powered fan profiles, consent, campaigns, automations, memberships, attribution and reporting.

Recommended first proof case

Start with one independently controlled, general-admission event. Do not begin by attempting to operate a 16,000-seat reserved event.

Respondent information

Required so Leiomano can identify and follow up on this submission.

1

What is Fresh Taste’s formal operating role?

Artist management company, promoter, event producer, booking company, label—or several of these?

2

Who will be authorized to sell the tickets?

Fresh Taste, each artist, the promoter, the venue, or a configurable combination?

3

Will Fresh Taste become the merchant of record?

Identify the entity shown on the purchaser’s statement and responsible for refunds and chargebacks.

4

How must ticket revenue be divided?

Document venue, promoter, artist, Fresh Taste, tax and processing allocations—and whether the rules vary by event.

5

When should each party be paid?

Immediately, periodically, after the event, or after a defined refund and chargeback reserve?

6

Who owns the purchaser and fan relationship?

Define whether Fresh Taste, the artist, or both control profiles, event history and future communication rights.

7

What consent governs cross-promotion?

Can Fresh Taste market other artists and events, or only the artist/event for which the purchaser opted in?

8

Who owns customer support?

Ticket delivery, refunds, transfers, cancellations, disputes and entry problems require defined operational ownership.

9

Who controls admission at each venue?

Fresh Taste staff, venue staff, security contractors or the promoter—and what permissions does each role require?

10

What check-in infrastructure is required?

Smartphones, rented scanners or fixed hardware? Must validation continue offline when venue connectivity fails?

11

How will reserved seating inventory be governed?

Who supplies and approves seat maps, accessible seating, holds, price levels and real-time inventory?

12

What should the brand and domain structure be?

One Fresh Taste marketplace plus artist domains, fully independent artist storefronts, or both?

13

What account and ticket-delivery experience should fans have?

Guest checkout versus required accounts; email, SMS and Apple/Google Wallet delivery.

14

What commercial model should outperform existing providers?

Per-ticket fee, sales percentage, artist subscription, promoter fee or a blended structure.

15

What must Fresh Taste own technically?

Is licensed white-label infrastructure acceptable beneath the Fresh Taste experience? Identify data, code and vendor portability requirements.

16

What is the first controlled pilot event?

Identify artist, event type, date, venue, capacity, price, general admission versus reserved seating, and inventory owner.

04 · Pilot Definition

First-event proof case.

Initial measurable outcomes

  • Reduction in ticketing fees
  • Payout speed and settlement accuracy
  • Purchaser-data and consent capture
  • Checkout conversion rate
  • Direct remarketing capability
  • Check-in speed and entry exceptions
  • Customer-support incidents
  • Revenue retained by Fresh Taste and artist

05 · Engineering Recommendation

Required output from discovery.

Produce a phased recommendation showing what Fresh Taste should license, integrate, and custom-build—including security, compliance, cost, operational ownership, vendor lock-in, implementation sequence and the first-event pilot plan.
